Barcelona
I was in Barcelona last week for the biggest mobile phone show of the year – the Mobile World Congress. We got to Barcelona a couple of days before the show started, which meant I had a bit of time to explore the city and take a few snaps.
As I was already hauling a tonne of stuff out there for the Congress, I didnt pack my big camera, which I instantly regretted as soon as I got there as the city is wonderfully photogenic. Fortunately I had my old trusty Pentax Optio S5i, which seems antique now at 5 years old, but still takes very nice photos and still has more megapixels than most people need. Anyway, as a result of Barcelona having so many beautiful and iconic landmarks, it has been shot to death, making it very hard to take an original shot, so in addition to the regular ” post card” shots of the Sagrada Familia, Casa Batlló and La Pedrera, I tried to find some more subtle shots in the detail of these architectural masterpieces.
